I've been really loving blush palettes lately. I just think they're so convenient. I love being able to travel with multiple blushes at once without having singles just floating around in my makeup bag. Granted, I don't own an excessive number of blush palettes, since I did have to be realistic about how much blush I actually need (which in truth, I have more than I should already).

Etude House Peach Cheek Blusher: #2 Smile Pink
Hello again! I hope March has been good to all of you. It's been a busy month for me with plenty of attention splitting events, so I haven't been putting my focus much on makeup lately. When I did have the chance to wear makeup, I made sure to reach my Etude House Peach Cheek Blusher. I really wanted to give this one a full test run, so this was my only blush for this month.

Clio Professional Art Blusher: #1 Peach
I have been pining after the Clio blushes for a while now. However, I've been holding out for what looks like to be the newer white compact version and it has been a rather futile wait. The only one I was able to find that came in the newer version was #5 Orange Peach at a store near Japan Town but it swatched more like a highlighter than a blush to me and at a $38 price tag, I wasn't about to buy a blusher I couldn't use, just for the packaging. So I ended up picking up #1 Peach in the original compact design instead of the sleeker white one.

Rimmel London: Autumn Catwalk
Hello again! I've been down and out with fever and horrible sinus pain towards the end of last week. I'm up and about now, but I still get fatigued pretty easily. Plus, there's no better way to lose your writing groove than being bed ridden. I was very excited to get my hands on this blush before getting sick though. For some reason, none of my local drugstores sell any of the Rimmel blushes. Believe me, I checked lots. I was finally able to find them at the Target located in a neighboring city.

Tarte Blush & Bronzer On the Go
One of the first things I like to do when I'm at Sephora is browse the products that are displayed around the check out line. There are many travel sized items or mini combos offered for more affordable and appealing prices. This is how I ended up with Tarte's Blush & Bronze On the Go.
For $15 this set comes with the Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface and Mineral Bronzer in Park Ave Princess. I haven't really seen the bronzer sold but I think the blush looks just like the original size, minus the mirror and magnet. Both the blush and bronzer have the same amount of product at 3.2 grams or 0.11 oz. Considering the fact that I will most likely apply these sheerly, I don't think I will be hitting pan any time soon.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush
So I totally broke down and bought the Bouncy Blush after I found out that it actually feels bouncy! And then I proceeded to buy a second one.
The first shade I purchased is Pink Plum. It's not quite as plum as I wished it to be but it is a very nice subtle pink. The texture is more squishy than bouncy to me since it doesn't actually go back to it's originally shape if you press into it. Maybelline describes this blush as feeling, "lightweight like a powder, yet melts into skin like a cream."
