Nyx: Summer Peach

Today, I present you with a post about Nyx's Summer Peach blush. I had purchased this at Sears over the recent summer. Really, the last place I expected to see Nyx cosmetics was at Sears, but I'm not going to complain about availability!

Summer Peach isn't really a peachy type of shade to me. It is a very nice warm medium pink with fine golden shimmer to it. It's a great all around pink shade to use for everyday. The pigmentation is moderate, which is great for me because this blush has been my go to choice for work days. I just don't have the time in the mornings sometimes to be really careful about overly pigmented blush. Clown cheeks are not an easy outcome with this blush, but it is easily buildable. The shimmer is also subtle, giving me a flattering glow without making my cheeks look extra shiny. It really is a wonderful pick me up sort of blush.

The packaging of the blush is fantastic too. The black case is rather simple but sleek, plus a clear window on the lid that has the brand's name on it. The blush itself has the quilted design that is also used for Nyx's single eyeshadows.

I believe I purchased Summer Peach for around $6, quite affordable considering the quality. I definitely want to try more Nyx blushes in the future, but I've made it my goal to use up at least one blush I own first before buying a new one. Space is a valuable commodity for me!

  1. I can't remember the last time I was in a Sears store; I wouldn't think to got there for NYX for sure.

    1. NYX has a nice range for a pretty affordable price. Plus, a lot if not all, are labeled hypoallergenic. So far, I've been using their eyeshadow primer, eyeshadows, lip glosses in the square tubes, lip stick, lip liner, and blush. Oh and I have one bottle of the NYX Girls nail polish in Roots, which is sort of a rose gold foil. No major complaints about what I've tried so far. =)

I've also heard that their Slide on Pencils are comparable to UD 24/7 but I have yet to try them.
